12-Mile Road Slash Site

ARWC will be partnering with the U.S. Forest Service – PSICC National Forest to host a fire mitigation slash collection on August 1, 2026 for property owners in or near the towns of San Isabel, Beulah and Rye, Colorado.
The collection time will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the gravel pit on Highway 78, mile 1.0, commonly called “12-mile road,” near San Isabel, Colorado.
The following rules must be adhered to:
-NATURAL WOODY DEBRIS FROM PROPERTY OWNERS IN OR NEAR THE TOWNS OF SAN ISABEL, BEULAH AND RYE ONLY!
-No Commercial Operators (contractors working for participating property owners are welcome).
-Please tarp your load to secure loose debris. Each load will be evaluated prior to unloading.
-YES: Limbs & branches from firs, pines, oak and brush.
-NO: Lumber, leaves, weeds, grass, sawdust, stumps, wood chips or trash of any kind.
There is a $20 suggested donation for this event.
