ARWC is a growing nonprofit with a clear mission: protect the water, forests, and communities of the Arkansas River Basin. We’re a team of watershed practitioners, foresters, and community organizers who care deeply about this place — and we’re looking for people who do too.

Current openings.
Find your place in the basin.
Lead on-the-ground watershed and forest health projects in the headwaters of the Arkansas Basin, from culvert replacements and fire recovery to wildfire-ready planning. You'll coordinate projects, build partnership, and pursue new funding alongside a small team doing landscape-scale work. Flexible work arrangements with office space provided at CMC Leadville and travel to project sites required.
