Why We Rebranded
Over the past few years, the Arkansas River Watershed Collaborative (ARWC) has grown—not only in the scope of our work but in the depth of our partnerships and the impact we make across the basin. From wildfire recovery and forest health to river restoration and water quality monitoring, we’ve evolved into a trusted hub for collaboration and action. It was time for our visual identity to evolve too.

Design that Reflects Our Mission
The new ARWC logo uses a clean, modern design to convey the organization’s evolving identity. At its heart mark inspired by the watersheds, mountains, and tributaries that define Colorado’s Arkansas River Basin.
- Watershed-inspired shape representing flow, movement, and connection
- Forest, river, and land elements symbolized in geometric strokes
- Natural palette of blues, grey, and deep green, reflecting clarity, trust, and the natural systems we protect
How You’ll See It Used
We’ve created several logo versions for different uses—from hats and event banners to social media, field signage, and formal reports. You’ll see:
- Our primary logo on publications and our website
- Our badge logo on swag and field signage
- Our icon logo on social media, apparel, and other informal uses
What This Change Means for ARWC
This new logo is more than just a design refresh. It’s a celebration of our journey, our community, and the work we do together to protect and restore the Arkansas River Basin.
It marks a new chapter—one rooted in deep collaboration and bold goals for the future. We hope it speaks to the pride we feel in this place and in the people who care for it.
This logo captures what we want the organization to be. It’s a great effort to clearly spell out who we are and what we do.
